Junior Social Strategist (CHI)


Epic Signal’s Junior Social Strategist role will focus on owning both community management and social strategy for A-list clients. Additionally, the Junior Social Strategist will play a key role in shaping social strategy across a suite of consultative, and social driven creative solutions. Working closely with our teams across the organization, you will infuse your curiosity to uncover social trends, analyze data, dig into a brand’s business, drive modern methodologies, and understand emerging platforms: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter. You will have an opportunity to work across a wide range of verticals: CPG, Retail, and Food among others.

You must be a team player who has a passion for storytelling on every platform. You have a pulse on culture, and follow big topics in your social feeds. You’re passionate about social media and actively participate in them yourself. You understand the value of communicating with digital communities and are comfortable with working on both institutional and emerging platforms.


  • Translate marketing/media objectives into a content plan 
  • Develop and publish content for brand related social channels and engage with brand communities on those platforms on behalf of clients
  • Deliver upon reporting and content strategy
  • Research content ideas using monitoring tools such as Crimson Hexagon
  • Be familiar with social monitoring tools such as Spredfast 
  • Proactively develop innovative, first time ever-style social activations
  • Assist with briefing internal creative teams to ensure timely/on-brief execution
  • Keep close communication with Senior Strategist and account team to keep them abreast of timelines and deadlines
  • Assist team members with brainstorming and social strategy meetings
  • Have a desire to work well with multidisciplinary teams and be a strategic advisor with partners within the organization
  • Execute and maintain/refine social media strategy with the oversight and assistance of the Senior Social Strategist 
  • Stay on top of user behavior and relevant trends using online monitoring tools
  • Keep up with platform updates and new social media tools 
  • Exhibit effective project and time management skills
  • Real passion for social media and innovation


  • Candidate must have 2-3+ years of experience
  • A strong grasp of all major social media platforms
  • Experience with community management and social listening tools
  • Brand, media, and social analytics skills
  • Strong strategic writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines in a fast paced environment 
  • Ability to be a visual storyteller; build decks that flow and tell a clear concise story
  • Multitask; work on several clients with varied needs all at once
  • A proactive and detail-oriented client service mentality
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications, Google Docs specifically PowerPoint, Google Slides, Excel and Google Sheets
