Oculus At GDC 2018

 
 

The Challenge

Extend Oculus’ presence at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) beyond those attending in order to reach the gaming audience on a newer brand channel: Instagram.

The Approach

We recruited three gaming influencers with a total following of over 12 million, bringing them to GDC to provide an inside look at the conference - the world's largest professional game industry event - and specifically the Oculus booth. 

The Results

We were able to successfully convert new fans over to the Oculus Instagram channel through our influencer’s posts. This ultimately lead to 55.9k views on Oculus’ first-ever Instagram story.
